Congratulations to our incredible team of consultants for successfully completing the 72-hole golf challenge in aid of Cancer Research UK (CRUK)! From 5am to 8pm, they walked over 26 miles, over 50,000 steps and made 350 shots.⛳🏌♂️ Not only did they complete this challenge of endurance, they also smashed their fundraising target, raising over £500 for Cancer Research! From learning his trade as a recruiter, to building a brand-new market, whilst managing to play part-time rugby for Cambridge RUFC….plus eating 20 chicken wings a day! We have seen a huge growth in his career development, hitting a lunch club within his first year, and building some true long-standing friendships within the Scientific world. Morgan has been great to have around, and we are very excited to see where his grit and determination will take him, as he continues to grow with us the team!” Hannah De Araujo- “Hannah has been with us at SoCode for 1 year, and she’s done fantastically in this time! The mechanical market was previously my little baby, and finding someone I had the confidence in to hand it over to, was a tricky task! But Hannah has taken it in her stride and is doing brilliantly. She has built lots of long-standing relationships, found plenty of engineers new positions, and has taken ownership of a fantastic market. ⛳ It is only one week until our next Charity Event!⛳ Our consultants have been training hard for our 72-Holes in One Day Golf Fundraiser🏌♂️, where we are raising funds for Cancer Research UK (CRUK). In anticipation of the big day, we asked them why they are getting involved: “I have had a history of cancer in my family, and have known many people to of suffered from this horrible disease. It is a privilege to be able to raise money for this cause through a sport that I have a huge love for." “It’s amazing the team here at SoCode are trying to help in anyway - My family & friends have been affected by Cancer, and I jumped at the chance to help. It is a bonus I get to play a gruelling day of golf with some fantastic company to help raise some money.” "18 holes is already challenging for me, so the idea of tackling 72 holes in one day seems insane! However, if our team can reach the final green before sunset and we've collected plenty of donations for Cancer Research UK, the experience will be well worth the inevitable sore legs!"
