And that’s a wrap on this academic year! 🎉 We had a brilliant time at our strategy meeting yesterday. In September this year Mark Childe and I completed a Help to Grow course at the University of Worcester, from that we selected a new business mentor Justine Upton and started a journey into creating our 3 year strategy. We invited all members of the team to apply to join us on an executive board with responsibility for outlining and delivering the strategy and were joined by Olivia Bakewell Kash Singh and Adam Price. Yesterday, in one of the best days Smile Education has ever had, we unveiled that strategy to the whole team and began setting up projects to work together to achieve it. I have never witnessed such a working buzz, the energy was unbelievable! We have never had such a clear and comprehensive strategy to support our vision of being the most trusted education recruitment partner in the country. Food bank update: I wanted to express a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who donated or shared the food bank link. The school was thrilled with the contributions and will be creating hampers for families in need over the summer holidays. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to donate: Over 30 bags of 1kg pasta Over 20 jars of sauce Numerous tins of beans, curries, chillies, and soups 30 packs of noodles Over 10 boxes of cereal 12 litres of UHT milk Enough washing powder for 150 washes 240 teabags, just to name a few of the items! Thank you once again from myself and the school. Your support means so much to us and the families it will help over the summer. A special thanks to Megan Glynn for taking time out of her lunch break to support this initiative. Your help was invaluable. And to Smile Education for their support 🧡

Thank you to everyone who donated to Stella’s food bank fundraiser recently! 🧡 Thanks to your help, we’ve been able to donate a huge amount to the food bank, who will create much-needed hampers for families over the summer. With the money raised, our secondary consultants Stella and Megan were able to donate the following: 🛒 Over 30 bags of 1kg pasta 🛒 Over 20 jars of sauce 🛒 Tins and tins of beans, curries, chillies and soups 🛒 30 packs of noodles 🛒 Over 10 boxes of cereal 🛒 12 litres of UHT milk 🛒 Enough washing powder for 150 washes 🛒 And 240 teabags! This is just to name a few - the team grabbed other much needed essentials for the food bank. We’d like to say a massive well done to Stella, who put the fundraiser together, and to Megan, who also took time out of her day to lend her support. #FoodBank #Fundraiser
