  • Sorry, we're late. We didn't post anything about Mental Health Awareness Week when it was running last week. The main reason being, while it is a wonderful initiative, we want to help keep conversations and understanding around mental health going all year long. So here is our first post on this year's theme of Movement from Emer Pateman. So, sorry not sorry (as the kids say 😉). Link to piece in comments below.

Best selling sleep author, sleep tourism, keynote speaker, neuroscientist, therapist and sleep consultant at Trouble Sleeping

💤 March Is National Sleep Awareness Month 💤 As we recognise the importance of quality sleep, I'm thrilled to share some heartening feedback from a valued client: "I'm confidently telling people that I'm a good sleeper now. My improved sleep has had a big impact in all areas of my life very quickly and I feel so much better." It's moments like these that reaffirm the significance of my work in promoting better sleep habits and overall wellbeing. In conjunction with National Sleep Awareness Month, I'm looking forward to delivering corporate wellbeing sleep sessions with Shine Workplace Wellbeing today for a couple of organisations - Anthony Nolan and AAT. Together, we're prioritising the importance of sleep health in the workplace and beyond. Furthermore, I'm honoured to be featured on BBC Radio CWR at 11:20am today, where I'll be discussing teenagers' sleep and its profound impact on productivity and overall health. Listen in for insights and tips! Let's continue to raise awareness about the importance of sleep and empower others to prioritise their wellbeing. Here's to better sleep and brighter days ahead! 💤

Founder of Shine Workplace Wellbeing - Delivering exceptional, and economical, employee wellbeing.

We’ve been working on this presentation since the start of the year, and given the growing media attention around children and smartphones, we - Shine Workplace Wellbeing - feel now is the time to launch 'Managing Your Child’s Smartphone Life'. This insightful and thought provoking webinar is suitable for parents who are looking to navigate the increasingly concerning issue of children and smartphone usage. With tons of advice, guidance and recent research now out there on this issue, we believe we have found and distilled the pertinent info that parents should be aware of. We decided to create this session following ‘non work’ conversations between ourselves on the issue – thus the webinar is delivered by parents ‘living’ (and struggling at times!) with this situation. Please note that this session is balanced – we cover various angles and look at the pros and cons of a number of options (eg smartphone bans, monitored use etc) so that attendees leave more informed and are more confident in the choices they make for their child(ren). Join us on March 14th - further info and registration via link in comments. Further dates and times to be announced soon.
