About us
As a subsidiary of SHIMA SEIKI Mfg., Ltd., we have been serving the UK, Ireland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and in conjunction with our sister subsidiary France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, since 1985 under SHIMA SEIKI's corporate philosophy of "Ever Onward". We are proud of our innovative machinery that enable customers to develop and manufacture a wide range of products from Fashion items to Medical, Sportswear to Shoes, Homeware to Composites (which are used across many industries). We have a highly trained and dedicated team, who have provided customer-oriented Sales and Service for over three decades. Our office is located in Castle Donington, Derbyshire which is conveniently located next to East Midlands Airport and J24 of the M1. Along with supplying the latest Knitting Machinery and Equipment, we support the knitting industry by providing training to nurture technical specialists. We also offer a bespoke Sampling Service for those customers who are looking to develop their product ideas along with a comprehensive Spare Parts and Machine Support Service. Our aim is to maintain our philosophy of "Ever Onward" and respond to our customers' ongoing needs.

Had a great week working at Shima Seiki Europe brushing up on all things Wholegarment with the fountain of knowledge that is Robyn P.! Whilst Wholegarment knitting is certainly complex and challenging, I had great fun understanding the more technical aspects of machine programming, alongside the design opportunities and constraints. Thank you Robyn, looking forward to playing more on our Wholegarment machinery at the School of Design - University of Leeds 🧶
