Emma Harrick, Head of Energy Transition and Supply Chain, and Jack Norquoy, Interim Director of Communications, were in Orkney last week to host a seminar with local councillors about Scotland’s offshore wind sector and supply chain. The seminar provided Orkney Islands Council with an insight into the key barriers to deployment for offshore wind, an overview of the development of the supply chain across the country and the economic benefits arising from these projects. Emma and Jack also met with local Scottish Renewables members Leask Marine Ltd, Green Marine, Orkney Harbours and the EMEC: European Marine Energy Centre to discuss their activity in marine energy and offshore wind. #SRmembers #offshorewind #supplychain #marineenergy
