This discussion paper – written by Jordan Street, Senior Policy and Advocacy Lead at Saferworld USA – attempts to fill this gap. It builds on Saferworld’s work analysing the role and impact of the UN counter-terrorism architecture, and brings the Terrorism Prevention Branch into focus – examining its mandate evolution, its good practices and some of its shortcomings.
