Hoofin’ effort 👏 Royal Marines recruits received the much coveted green beret from the Navy’s most senior sailor - after he joined them on their final test. First Sea Lord Admiral Sir Ben Key ran some of the 30-miler on Dartmoor – the last and most demanding of four challenging commando tests which mark the climax of more than seven months of training at CTCRM Lympstone. He presented the legendary headgear at the run’s finish at Bickleigh Barracks, praising the successful recruits for their commitment and dedication. Read more: https://lnkd.in/dhw5Pk9v

Lt Derek Player joined the Royal Navy Reserves while working in Asda before becoming a full-time Reservist at HMS Dalriada. Since joining he has deployed to Gibraltar, Cyprus and Norway and mobilised to work alongside with his regular colleagues. #AFW24
