For many people, jumping out of a plane would be a terrifying ordeal. Throw in a fear of heights and you would think completing a charity skydive would be impossible.   That didn’t stop 70-year-old Christine Frangiamore from taking on the challenge.   Explaining why she chose to fundraise on our behalf, Christine said: “My daughter Dani works for the charity. I am able to have a true insight into all the wonderful things that the charity does on a daily basis, all the support they offer to both patients and staff along with the research they fund.”   She took the plunge at Sibson Airfield in Peterborough, freefalling in a tandem-skydive with the team at UK Parachute. Elderly patients at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust are set to benefit from free toiletries thanks to our partnership with Giving World who recently donated shower gels, shampoos, conditioners and moisturisers. Our services bolster the care and treatment patients receive at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. Today marks the start of our fundraising appeal in support of our services, including our complementary massage therapy team, volunteers and our support hub.   There are many ways to get involved whether you handmake goods to sell, put a hand in your pocket to donate money usually spent on take-away coffees or take a hands-on approach with a sponsored physical challenge.
