What a way to finish Farnborough 2024! Today is all about the Pioneers of Tomorrow, with over 10,000 young people at the Airshow to learn about the amazing careers and training available to them in aerospace. Being more honest though, it’s pretty usual that most companies close down their stands the night before and go home leaving nothing but a few brochures lying around. Not this year though, what a really amazing effort by the UK’s Aerospace Industry - just about every stand full of apprentices, young people and graduates sharing their experiences with kids (of all ages) - an awesome thing to see! Great talks from apprentices at Boeing, wind tunnels at Reaction Engines, a packed #space zone and an inspiration and careers hub that the Royal Aeronautical Society is really happy to be a big part of. A great ending to a great show!
