We felt that given the events of recent weeks, it was an oportune time to reiterate our mission as a gym. When we began our journey a little over two years ago, we put our community first. Boxing was a tool, a tool to bring together our community. We could not be more proud of the work we have done and the tireless work our staff have put in to make this happen. We have brought together week after week people of all ages, abilities, gender, ethnicty, religious belief and have seen not only the gym thrive but those individuals within it grow - our members - the lifeblood of our gym and community. Whilst we are disgusted like the majority of the actions of the minority it's important for us to highlight the great work our team and members do day in and day out. Their work will never receive the spotlight of the minority. But their work already has and will continue to create change and leave a lasting legacy in our gym and the wider community. Let's return to positivity, let's continue our work. Our mission started a long time ago. The last few weeks have been a reminder that more work needs to be done. We won't be deterred by this. We will use this as motivation.
