We’re excited to share that Bernadette Harrison, our Global Head of Product Sustainability & Programme Management, is on the judging committee for the second consecutive year in the Women's Engineering Society Award, UK. Bernadette will be judging the Karen Burt Memorial Award, honouring the best newly qualified chartered engineer. At Rotork, we’re passionate about supporting the development of our employees, especially those in the early stages of their careers. And, as a proud partner of WES for the past five years, we are thrilled to see our engineers actively contributing to their mission.   Dr Karen Burt obtained a PhD in electron microscopy at Reading University before joining British Aerospace as a project engineer for scientific satellites. She was a tireless campaigner for recruiting and retaining women in science and engineering. She is remembered as a gifted communicator, and her fight to recover her speech and mobility following a stroke inspired all who knew her.

We have featured in Tanks and Terminals magazine, where Dave Godfrey, discusses how an effective maintenance plan for site assets can reduce downtime, increase profitability and improve safety at tank farms.    The article details how an effective and holistic site service programme increases the dependability of site assets. We've just announced our results for the first half of 2024. Our fantastic team at Rotork delivered another strong performance. Revenue was up by 11.6%, and profit was up 22.3% on an OCC basis.
