📣 NISMO Adopts rFpro for Driver-in-the-Loop Simulation! 📣 We are thrilled to announce that NISMO, the renowned motorsport division of Nissan Motor Corporation, has chosen rFpro as its Driver-in-the-Loop (DIL) simulation software provider. This partnership will see NISMO leverage rFpro's cutting-edge simulation technology to develop race cars across its racing programmes, including Super GT. Motohiro Matsumura, Director of NISMO, highlighted the benefits: “We chose rFpro because of its high-quality graphics and engineering-grade track models, which are key elements for DIL simulation for vehicle development and to immerse the driver. The SAE International has taken a closer look at our recently launched Los Angeles digital model in this fascinating article by Sebastian Blanco. The 36-km digital twin was built using survey-grade LiDAR data with a 1 cm by 1 cm accuracy and features: 🏢 Over 12,000 buildings 🚦 13,000 pieces of street infrastructure 🌳 40,000 pieces of vegetation Our Technical Director, Matt Daley said, “It offers a huge array of different types of challenging infrastructure for autonomous vehicles.
