Welcome to the official Revivocell page. Revivocell develops novel cell culture technology for the growth of cells in-vitro that better replicate the function of body like conditions. This includes multiple organ co-culture technology, non-destructive and more informative analysis techniques, and other platforms that gives scientists better tools for research. We are passionate about providing scientists with innovative technology that enhances life sciences research to improve human health. In particular, our aim is to bring forward innovations that enable better prediction of body response to new drugs early in the pre-clinical stage and such increasing the success rate of developing better drugs as well as reduce the reliance on animal testing.

This model enhances the accuracy of Drug-Induced Liver Injury (DILI) predictions, potentially transforming preclinical testing and improving drug safety.     Download full poster: Eugenol's neuropharmacological properties using the CELLBLOKS® and STACKS organ-on-a-chip platform, enabling the simulation of multiple physiological barriers within one system. The models encompass human cerebral microvascular endothelial cells (hCMEC/D3) representing the BBB, Human Retinal Pigment Epithelial (HRPE) cells as a BCSFB model, and Rat small Intestinal Epithelial cells (IEC-6) emulating the GI barrier. The research assesses Eugenol's potential to induce dopamine release in neuron-like PC12 cells.

    📢 New Application Note: In Vitro Brain Model Using NANOSTACKS™ 🧠 Excited to share our latest application note on developing a novel in vitro human brain model with NANOSTACKS™. This model includes an astrocytoma cell line and SH-SY5Y cells, pushing the boundaries of neurotoxicity research. 🔬 Key Findings: • Increased Neurotoxicity: Methylglyoxal showed increased neurotoxicity in our model with undifferentiated SH-SY5Y cells compared to monocultures. • Neurite Outgrowth Assay: Clomipramine’s neurotoxicity was assessed using a neurite outgrowth assay on differentiated SH-SY5Y cells, demonstrating NANOSTACKS™’ compatibility with imaging-based toxicity assays. 📈 Our research highlights the potential of NANOSTACKS™ for creating complex in vitro models, offering valuable insights for drug discovery and neurotoxicity testing. 📄 Download the full application note to learn more about this innovative approach! 🌟 #Neuroscience #InVitroModel #NANOSTACKS #Neurotoxicity #DrugDiscovery #BrainResearch #Innovation
