Last week our Communications team co-hosted Women in PR and Women in Public Affairs (WiPA) for their first ever joint members event, alongside our partners at Blackstone, and with support from Moxy Communications Ltd. It was great to provide a space for women from across the public and government relations industries to come together and network, as well as enjoy sunset views across London. 

During half term, with many families looking for great value breaks in the UK, Blackstone portfolio company Haven has seen strong growth in bookings (up 14% YoY) with 3.6 million holidaymakers set to visit a Haven park this year.   These latest figures follow a busy year for Haven, which became the first (and only) holiday park operator to open a Wetherspoons pub on site, as well as launch a huge recruitment drive for over 10,000 seasonal and full-time roles to support the growing number of visitors.   You can read more about the great work our portfolio colleagues at Haven are doing here 👇

A fantastic achievement from our portfolio colleagues, and recognition of the great work Industrials REIT is doing to build a strong and dynamic workplace.

Our team made a short trip to Italy this week, visiting our portfolio company colleagues at Land of Fashion Villages and its Franciacorta and Mantova sites. It was a valuable opportunity to learn more about the business, and how Land of Fashion has developed its villages and diversified its offer to attract even more shoppers and visitors. Thank you to Benedetta Chiara Conticelli, Mauro Pilati, Richard Langeveld and their colleagues for making us welcome and hosting such an informative and enjoyable visit.

Our team had the opportunity to visit the extremely impressive iQ Student Accommodation Vega building in Vauxhall last week, including a tour of the student accommodation and facilities, with fantastic views of London from the 36th floor. Getting out and about visiting other portfolio companies is a great part of what we do, and we look forward to more trips in the future.   Thank you to Ollie Humphries, Devan Bala and Adam Hussein for showing us around!  

We are pleased to announce that Gina Dixon, former CTO and CISO at St Modwen, has joined Revantage UK, A Blackstone Portfolio Company as Chief Information Security Officer. In this new role, Gina will be responsible for building our new CISO as a Service (CISOaaS) offering for our European Portfolio Companies.   Having worked in IT for 27 years, she has spent the last 22 years specialising in cyber security, data protection and operational resilience.   We look forward to working with you, Gina!

To celebrate #IWD2024 we were lucky to be joined by Victoria Humphries, a polar adventurer, 3 x Guinness World Record holder, mountain climber and marathon runner, for a fantastic WIRE (Women in Revantage) breakfast event, where she spoke inspiringly about the incredible challenges she faced on her Arctic expedition.   It was great to join forces with our Revantage Europe, A Blackstone Portfolio Company colleagues for the very first cross-market WIRE event - we look forward to collaborating again in the future!   Thank you to Brennan, Shirley, Sofia, Clara, Laure and Dione Jones for organising. 

We are pleased to announce that Andrew Masterson Assoc. CIPD, MIoL, Learning and Development Advisor, will be sharing his expertise with Revantage Europe, A Blackstone Portfolio Company in an expanded role that will see him split his time between our London and Luxembourg offices. Andy will continue to play a key role in growing our European training program with our Luxembourg colleagues and work closely with our global team on company-wide learning and development initiatives. This is a fantastic example of Revantage’s global network providing incredible opportunities for personal and career growth. Congratulations, Andy!
