The First Broughshane Presbyterian has recently undergone a significant renovation. As a beautiful listed building, the traditional aesthetic in the church and halls has been meticulously preserved. Building on our long-standing relationship with the church, we were privileged to collaborate with their exceptional team to deliver an impeccable AV solution. We have equipped their main hall, minor hall, creche, foyer, cafe, and youth room, and have supplied and installed their external LED sign. The main hall boasts an Allen & Heath SQ5, with the AHM ensuring optimal sound distribution throughout the entire building. The Allen & Heath 168W functions as the primary audio input panel, complemented by a comprehensive range of Allen & Heath control panels for source selection and volume control throughout the building. To achieve superior sound quality, NEXO speakers were installed in the main and minor church halls, all powered by a NEXO NX4x1mk2 control amplifier. The Epsom projector in the main hall is seamlessly managed using Kramer active wall plates and the VS622DT vision mixer. Additionally, an array of Samsung screens has been strategically placed in each room to enhance visual capabilities. In the foyer, Martin Audio Ltd two-way ceiling speakers provide exceptional coverage in this high-traffic area. Externally, we supplied and installed a 2-meter wide Ayla LED video wall, significantly enhancing the church's visual presence. We were fortunate to be awarded the new AV installation for the Cookstown chamber of the Mid Ulster Council. After a thorough visit and detailed discussions to understand the client's requirements, we proposed a state-of-the-art meeting and discussion system that supports in-room, online, and hybrid meetings. This comprehensive solution includes advanced video and audio capabilities, automated setup, and operation with optional manual control. To achieve this, we installed a BOSCH discussion system featuring a sleek, modern design with low desk impact, a high-directive microphone, an earphone socket option, a "possible to speak" indicator, and premium acoustic design. For video and audio mixing, we utilised a Vaddio system that supports software-based video conferencing with professional AV peripherals and Ayla PTZ cameras. The system is controlled through a customised 10-inch touch screen, allowing easy setup and simple yet complete control for the system administrator. Additionally, we installed high-performance Martin Audio Ltd ACS-55T two-way ceiling speakers, known for their wide 180-degree conical coverage pattern. This reduces the number of speakers required while ensuring even sound distribution. We also installed a range of 4k UHD crystal sharp displays from Panasonic and Samsung to allow every participant to view and partake in the meeting, the Samsung Frame blends seamlessly with the chamber's decor, appearing as a painting or picture when not in use. Overall, our solution provides the Cookstown chamber with a cutting-edge discussion system controlled through a customised Kramer control interface, enabling efficient and effective meetings in any format.
