**NETWORK** You'll often here me discuss the importance of communities and networking. They can be prove to be so powerful when attempting to make change and constructively challenge. Today I visited one of Race in STEM community partners Anthony Nolan. I was given a tour and welcomed by members of their DEI team Greg Judge and Ayesha Ahmed. Throughout the time spent I got to learn more about this great non-profit organization and its history and plans for the future which excites me to share with the community in due course; however a discussion point which resonates with many when implementing DEI strategy, is 'how do you change mindsets'? We will be uncovering a number of essential points over the next few months and I look forward to this partnership. Special mention to Jogesh Bowry (previous colleague working with BioTalent) who has genuine passion and love for creating equitable spaces for the introduction #DEI #EDI #Community #socialimpact #raceinstem #implementation The IN Group

🌟 In our recent poll, we asked: Do you feel there are sufficient mentorship and networking opportunities for underrepresented groups in your field? Steven Fuller shares his views on the results. "The responses were eye-opening: while some opportunities exist, many participants noted there are none at all. Are these results surprising? Through my own experiences engaging with educational institutions, companies, and conferences, I’ve seen that many professionals remain unaware of the immense value mentorship and networking offer. Misconceptions about financial barriers, such as costly mentorship programs or expensive networking events, often prevent people from seeking out these vital opportunities. The truth is, there’s incredible untapped talent out there that isn't being fully represented. We need to collectively think beyond traditional avenues to create and embrace opportunities for diverse talent pools." 💡 A question for everyone to reflect on: What are you doing to help drive mentorship and networking opportunities? #DiversityInSTEM #MentorshipMatters #InclusiveNetworking #STEMLeadership
