Today we announce the appointment of Simon LF Walsh as our Chief Scientific Officer. Dr. Walsh is a recognised global expert in computer vision and lung disease with over 200 peer reviewed publications to his name. Dr Walsh said: "I’ve dedicated my career to developing tools that harness cutting edge machine learning research to improve treatment trial execution in interstitial lung diseases and other complex lung diseases. Joining Qureight in the CSO role allows me to apply my academic experience to drive forward innovation and, critically, implementation of the latest ML science." CEO Muhunthan Thillai said: "Welcoming Simon into Qureight’s senior leadership team is a pivotal moment in Qureight’s scale-up journey. Qureight has become a member of the Open Source Imaging Consortium (OSIC)! 💽We are joining nearly 50 other organisations, and hundreds of individuals, united by a mission to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of ILD fibrosing lung disease research. Membership of OSIC provides Qureight with access to the Global OSIC Cloud Data Repository: the world’s largest and most diverse global data repository for ILD. This will enable us to improve and validate our existing IPF platform offering and to accelerate our expansion into additional types of interstitial lung disease. 🫁This milestone strengthens our commitment to improving diagnosis and treatment outcomes for ILD patients. Qureight has a new Head of Business Development - welcome to the team, Jessica Payne! ✅Jessica has well over a decade of relevant experience in Business Development, having spent 13 years at IXICO, a leading neuroimaging CRO, delivering advanced AI analytical insights in neuroscience to the global clinical trials market. 🌎At Qureight, Jessica will be championing our commercial strategy and driving our global business growth.
