Our new Director, Maddie Horner, attended the first in-person meeting of Colour Of Research (CORe). An event she describes as 'uplifting and welcoming'. Their aim is to provide guidance and encouragement while forging meaningful connections to enable growth and development. In celebration of National Relaxation Day 2024, the team at Karen Millen took to the bustling streets of London to encourage people to take a moment for themselves. Prior to this, Karen Millen conducted market research and found that: - 59% of women have faced feeling burnout in the past year. - Only 22% of women rated their work-life balance as ‘great’ which could be attributed to higher stress levels. - One third of women said they don’t regularly prioritise self-care, often feeling guilty for taking time off for themselves. One respondent commented "I’m exhausted in all aspects: mentally and physically. It impacts everything and makes me unable to cope with work/home life." which calls attention to the overwhelming levels of stress many women face daily. As a brand which is recognised for dressing the modern working woman, this is something that remains at the forefront of our mind. In view of this, the whole Karen Millen team have received a day off to acknowledge all their hard work and encourage them to take a break. #NationalRelaxationDay #KarenMillen #MyKM
