"If something is worth fighting for, then cultivate the art of obstinacity" One of the five life lessons that Kate Nash OBE 💜 shares in her award winning book, Positively Purple, which we used as our September Leadership Lesson. Kate describes ‘Obstinacity’ as ‘a mash up of two words - 'obstinance' (unyielding stubborn adherence to one's purpose or opinion) and 'tenacity' (the tendency to be very determined)’ and it is a trait we recognise in the most impactful disability ERG/Network leaders. They tend to be driven by purpose and are resilient and persistent. In this month's Peer Leadership Roundtables, powered by the Futurists, attendees shared their experiences of using obstinacity in their own leadership. During the session, we watched this month's vlog by Kate Nash OBE 💜 on Obstinacity. This film is now available for you to watch and share with colleagues https://lnkd.in/eF_YKCks And we invite you to share your own experiences in the comments - when has obstinacity helped you overcome a significant challenge or obstacle in your ERG/Network leadership?
