Our story began in 2000 when we opened our first restaurant in New Oxford Street, London. Back then we were called Jonathan’s. Since then, we’ve become one of the most well-known and most loved Italian dining restaurants on the high street. Today we have 96 restaurants with a team of over 2,000 people – creating memorable moments for our guests, right across the UK. It's #WorldWellbeingWeek this week, a chance to celebrate and promote the work going on in many places to support and improve the wellbeing of people all over the world. It's something we think about all year round at Prezzo. As part of Prezzo Perks, all our team members have access to WeCare, a fantastic support programme from Canada Life that covers four key areas of wellbeing: health, mental health, general wellbeing, and financial health. This includes benefits such as private GP services and access to talking therapy. We know how fundamental this support can be, and for us it's vital that we offer all our team members free access to these services. Another reason to celebrate WorldWellbeingWeek is to keep the conversation around wellbeing open, and to keep normalising talking about mental health and wellbeing. This is something that wasn't the case until fairly recently, but has had a huge impact on reducing the stigma around accessing wellbeing support services. And that's something that really matters.
