I don’t often shout about the things my team and I achieve, but on a week that’s been surrounded by not so great news from across the pond, I think we need some positivity! So in no particular order, here’s some amazing things that’s happened in the past few months and mentions of some great people i’ve worked with… •Working with the team at Instruct Studio we completed a brand update and launch of Shakespeare North Bar & Kitchen alongside our Corporate Events & Hires offer. Big shout to the main lads John Owens and Ellie Thomas! Alongside this, appointing our first Head Chef, Roland Williams whose creating some boss scran! •Sold our first lot of honey in the shop produced by the bees that live (and work!) on our roof. •I was nominated and WON ‘Creative Industries Person of the Year’ at the The Collaborative Network CIC LGBTQ Flower’s Awards. •Andy Kelly has been our driving force of sustainability and is leading panels across the city region including an upcoming event at Future Yard CIC •Being asked to Judge the Association for Cultural Enterprises Awards next year. •James Duckworth being promoted to Visitor Experience Manager: Commercial and now oversee’s our catering & bars offer. •Fiona Hall smashing our corporate events & hires offer and making great tracks in the city region. •Awaiting the install of a new EPOS System with pointOne EPoS and working with the lovely Alex Morgan •Being super proud to be on the board of trustees for Homotopia and attending the launch of The Holly Johnstone story at The Museum of Liverpool •Took a little work trip with Victoria A. & Siobhan Noble to Theatre By The Lake for our co-production press night of Romeo & Juliet. (We wont mention being stuck on the m6 for four hours) •Also did a two week holiday around Italy and managed to do some “work” by visiting the Cantine Giacomo Montresor S.p.a. and sampling some incredible wines, thanks to our wine supplier John Budd for sorting it out.
