It is simply no longer good enough for #filmmakers #producers #creators #artists of all kinds, shapes and sizes in #mediaentertainment to think in a linear fashion … You are not simply creating a movie, a documentary, a series, an album … You are creating a central story idea with multiple themes and spin outs that inform and reflect society. Well, if you’re truly empathetic, cognitive and in tune with your audience (society) you simply must understand where they live in our digital world, how they consume content in our digital world and how to offer more than a slot in a schedule. - narratives exist to live on in multiple locations - narratives should allow generation of multiple and extended layers of content around the premium core idea… - narratives don’t have to stay one direction beaming at an audience - think about extending your themes to #interactive, #immersive and give your audience the chance to become active participants in your story with #usergen - dumping endless soundbites on web2 #socialmedia isn’t the point.     Playhuman CEO Matthew Scott was invited to The Big Debate "AI will do more harm than good in the next decade" as part of Belfast Tech Week, in the glorious Allstate Northern Ireland offices on the banks of the river Lagan. It was a great discussion, there were laughs, there were groans, there was heated back and forth, all in good nature, there was even a tech lawyer in a Gillett - whats not to love. Thanks Simon Bailie for a thought provoking session... we left with more questions than we arrived with.

    Really enjoyed hosting and moderating The Big Debate: “AI will do more harm than good in the next decade” at Allstate Northern Ireland yesterday as part of Belfast Tech Week. It certainly wasn’t your average panel discussion but with a lively debate between Matthew Scott and Katie Willoughby arguing that AI will do more good and Adam Hale and Rory Campbell arguing it will do more harm. At times, the debate got quite heated, which made it even more interesting as the audience would ultimately decide who had the most convincing argument… On the Economic argument, Matthew and Katie won over the audience that it will provide more opportunities for economic growth. On the Social impact, Adam and Rory won the argument that it would do more harm. On the existential threat AI poses, the decision was inclusive with neither team getting a majority of the audience to agree. Thanks so much to the excellent panelists for being such good sports. I certainly got a new sense of appreciation for Fiona Bruce or presidential debate moderators!     Playhuman Group is delighted to announce the appointment of world class creative leader Graham Robinson as Creative Director of the family. Graham has worked with the biggest artists, media brands and entertainment platforms in the world having spent a decade across London, New York and Los Angeles. With a deep skillset ranging from creative direction, film/tv/virtual production, live events and motion graphics, Graham is also an Epic Games-accredited trainer in Unreal Engine for immersive design and worldbuilding. Graham joins Playhuman at a time when it’s interactive streaming network is launching its first hybrid 2D/3D interactive streaming networks from October 2024. Founder & CEO, Matthew Scott says ‘I was introduced to Graham by a friend Martin Neill quite some time ago and I’m so glad that he made the introduction. Graham is exactly what Playhuman needs as we embark on new adventures into the metaverse and interactive and immersive engagement for creators, artists, entertainment brands and media owners in Web3.     Creating the feedback loop 🌀🌎❤️ Another brilliant creative session with Graham Robinson 🌎🌀❤️ While sharing #content and #userexperience ideas for #PlayhumanXR we had some fun with: 1- doing a live video call 2- using playhuman to #livestream our live stream video call 3- then used our #interactive streaming app to view our #creator live stream of our live stream video chat on the Playhuman creator #dashboard 😆😆😆 some people work for a living .. 🌎 PlayhumanXR is alive 🌎 Playhuman network is fast approaching… The voice in my head that I battle every day says: ‘Oh well done idiot - you’ve just recreated TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Snapchat, Netflix and the metaverse ‘ 🧐 I say… yep, all in one place and away from restrictive algos and money throttling of web 2. The #creatoreconomy deserves creators being able to earn fair returns, all of them not 5%of them, be able to grow audiences unhindered and be able to create whatever formats they like without having to work out some algorithmic whim or match whatever banal trend the network demands.. #creatorstrikesback It is time. 🌎Wanna Play? ❤️
