Exciting news for the UK medical device industry! The MHRA has just announced its policy intent to recognise international approvals for medical devices beyond 2030, allowing manufacturers with regulatory approval from the EU, USA, Canada, and Australia to access the UK market. This move will streamline processes and reduce the burden of UKCA marking, opening up multiple pathways for devices to be marketed in Great Britain. Manufacturers should definitely keep an eye on the details, especially around compliance requirements and new post-market surveillance rules. At PHARMExcel we're looking forward to seeing how this develops as we continue to support UK and overseas companies looking to run their clinical trials in the UK. #MedicalDevices #RegulatoryAffairs #MHRA #CRO #ClinicalTrials Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/edCnUwCb

To celebrate World Alzheimer's Day, Dani Harrison, our Head of People & Culture at PHARMExcel, has launched her 10,000m swim challenge! Dani will be swimming a Marathon swim event - 10,000 metres in November at the London Aquatic Centre in aid of the Alzheimer's Society. Here are a few words from Dani about why she has decided to take on this challenge: "Dementia is a terrible illness and one which my family and I are only too aware of as my lovely Mum suffers with it. The Alzheimer’s Society is working towards a world where #dementia no longer devastates lives by giving help to those living with dementia and their families, which I can tell you from my personal experience is so important. I want to do as much as I can to support my mum, the Alzheimer's Society and other families in the fight against Dementia. If you would like to donate it would be very much appreciated by me and the Alzheimer’s Society. Just use this link https://lnkd.in/e9wgWWUu - thank you so much 💜 " Good luck Dani from everyone at PHARMExcel! #WearPurple #RaiseAwareness
