There’s no sleepy summer season in our Washington DC properties 1201 NY and 1801 Penn! We are thrilled to be welcoming new tenants to our Pembroke places. While these distinctive office buildings are outperforming the market with occupancy rates, there are still opportunities to join the communities we are building in them. New tenants such as Firehouse Strategies and International Franchise Association (IFA) say they are excited to have their workplaces at 1201 NY, because of the way we have customized the design of their offices to suit their team’s needs. We’re creating so much more than office space, and we’re finding that our flexible solutions are re-engaging employees away from WFH. Both 1201 NY and 1801 Penn feature a wide range of lifestyle amenities: lobbies with wow factors that create a sense of arrival to kick off the day right, roof decks for connecting with colleagues, socializing and needed time outs. We have lounge areas, game rooms and gyms with our rock climbing wall to release tension during those moments when you feel like you’re climbing the walls while working at your desk! That’s a wrap on our commemorative celebrations of NAIDOC Week 2024 in Australia! It's an important time, where we can come together and recognize the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.   Pembroke’s T&G Building in Melbourne had the privilege of showcasing an Indigenous art exhibition which included a live art event where First Nations artist, Trevor Eastwood, showcased his incredible talent and cultural expression and invited the community to contribute on canvas.   In honour of this years' theme Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud & Proud, we partnered with our tenant community to host an evening with energized performances in the atrium, including a silent auction of Trevor Eastwood's art. Auction proceeds were donated to BlaQ Aboriginal Corporation, an organization dedicated to empowering the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTQ SB community through innovation, inclusion, understanding and advocacy. It was inspiring to see firsthand how we can thread together values, art and community.   Special thanks to many, including Wurundjeri Elder Uncle Colin Hunter for his Welcome to Country,  tenants Accenture, Treasury Wine Estates and Google for their support in bringing this event to life and Nike for donating specially designed commemorative NAIDOC Week football jerseys to the auction, and delicious catering by Pawa Catering and Events and The Mulberry Group as well as the delightful performers, Djiri Djiri Aboriginal Women’s Dance Company and Cerulean Drag. And if you’re in Sydney, head to 20 Martin Place to be lifted high by our elevator art installation commissioned for NAIDOC Week! So many people “going up” have been lifted literally and figuratively by the dramatic installation that we’re keeping the elevator art on display through the end of August!   #NAIDOC2024 #NAIDOCWeek #BlakLoudProud #ThoughtfulProperty #Community #TnGBuilding Emmalee Quinlan | Paul Le Sueur| Joe Fitzpatrick, | Kim McKerrell | Dimitri Soulos | Knight Frank Australia

What an amazing time we had celebrating NAIDOC Week! With this years’ theme being 'Keep the fire burning! Blak, loud and proud', our Employee Resource Groups, TWE Pride, and TWE Mosaic who support us in creating an inclusive culture for our LGBTQIA and culturally diverse team members, teamed up with some of our Melbourne office building mates - Accenture, Pembroke , Google and Emmalee Quinlan - to throw an event full of culture, fun, and community spirit. Wurundjeri Elder Uncle Colin Hunter gave us a powerful Welcome to Country that truly set the tone for the evening. Djiri Djiri Aboriginal Women’s Dance Company gave us a mesmerising performance (with the tots in tow!), and of course, a big shoutout to Cerulean Drag who dazzled us with her stunning performances. We enjoyed delicious Indigenous fusion food from Pawa Catering and Events and Liminal cafe, plus a selection of our own TWE wines. The evening culminated in a stunning piece of art by First Nations artist, Trevor Eastwood, being auctioned off, with proceeds going to BlaQ Aboriginal Corporation. It was inspiring to hear from John Leha, BlaQ's Founding Director and Chair, about the incredible work they do for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTQIA Sisterboy and Brothergirl community.  A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made it happen and to everyone who came out to celebrate and support uplifting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices and stories. NAIDOC Week (National Aboriginal and Islanders Day Observance Committee) in Australia, is an important, celebratory occasion when Australians commemorate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The theme of NAIDOC Week this year is Keep the Fire Burning! 🔥  The fire symbolizes the resiliency of Indigenous cultures, passed down through generations despite the challenges faced. At 20 Martin Place we care deeply about NAIDOC Week, we care about enriching our community, and we have chosen art as the expression of our NAIDOC Week celebration, because art is a powerful tool for storytelling. For NAIDOC Week, Pembroke’s Workplace Customer Experience team Knight Frank Australia engaged with indigenous artist Alex Kerr to design six bespoke artworks on our elevator doors in the lobby. Each elevator artwork tells a story unique to the artist and his 'mob'. There are QR codes next to the installations that link to detailed information, so everyone "going up" at 20 Martin Place can be lifted, inspired and educated! Thanks to enthusiastic feedback from our community, experience partner Travis Kiely and Pembroke have made the decision to leave the elevator art installed through August, so come over to check it out! We think of the elevator ride into the workplace as being that last moment when we can collect our thoughts and get ready to go! With these elevator doors, we are taking a lift ride to a whole new level--literally and figuratively! #NAIDOC2024 #NAIDOCWeek #BlakLoudProud #ThoughtfulProperty #Community #20MartinPlace Joe Fitzpatrick | Travis KielyDan GrothKim McKerrellDimitri SoulosKnight Frank AustraliaKailey Antico | Moustafa Sanoussi

Our Pembroke property, 255 State Street, showcases some of the best views of Boston by land and by sea, and now we can enjoy our summer season on the rooftop! Our entire top floor, inside and out, is being thoughtfully redesigned by our Pembroke team. We welcomed crowds of tenants to a party to kick off the summer season and introduce them to this stunning, expansive indoor / outdoor space suited to host a wide range of meetings and client events, and, as you can see, it’s also the perfect venue for sizzling summer soirées! We also announced at the party that our good neighbor, Marriott Hotels Long Wharf, is partnering with us to offer all 255 State tenants exclusive benefits including preferential hotel rates, membership to its gym, and event opportunities. This exciting collaboration will enhance all of our everyday experiences! Party highlights: lovely food and beverage stations, live music, caricature artists, a slushy station, Marriott prizes, corn hole and more! Cheers! Pembroke was delighted to host Two Good Co at 20 Martin Place, Sydney, to serve their famous ‘Marinastrone’ and pumpkin soup, utilising herbs from our Micro herb garden, installed by Greenspace ESG. Two Good Co is a social enterprise that supports, empowers, and employs women with lived experience of domestic violence and homelessness.    The ‘Marinastrone’ soup served to tenants is a family recipe from Marina, a graduate of Two Good's Work Work employment pathways program, which helps bridge a ‘love and skills’ gap for vulnerable people getting back on their feet and into the workforce after living in crisis. Nick Fox from Greenspace ESG, leant hand with serving and herb pairing, while talking to tenants about micro farming and the Two Good initiative. Greenspace are a community vertical farm service that make local produce sustainable and accessible, with nutrient-rich crops grown indoors. Tenants of 20 Martin Place have enjoyed fresh daily herbs since it was installed in April.    Take a look at some of the tenants enjoying the lobby activation, below, and find out more here: https://twogood.com.au/ and  https://greenspace.com/ #Pembroke #20MartinPlace #TwoGoodCo #GreenSpace #ThoughtfulProperty #Community Joe Fitzpatrick, Travis Kiely, Dan Groth, Kim McKerrell, Knight Frank, Dimitri Soulos

Talk about a joyous occasion! The ribbon cutting ceremony at BLK Chip Gallery boosted the spirits of all in attendance. BLK Chip Gallery is a creative exhibition space where Black and Brown artists with Boston roots can accelerate and fortify their professional art talent through exposure to emerging collectors. The gallery is a partnership with STREET THEORY Collective which offers artist-in-residencies space and supplements with design education, professional development and business skill expansion for artists. All of us at Pembroke are delighted BLK Chip Gallery is located at Pembroke’s reimagined Commonwealth Pier, the urban waterfront campus we are developing in Boston’s Seaport. Boston Change Maker Makeeba McCreary, the visionary who brought the gallery from genius idea to reality, said in her remarks that she was asked, "Why bring a gallery with this mission to support Black and Brown artists to the Seaport?" Her answer: “Why not the Seaport?” The Seaport represents change. It is transforming into a place where people of different cultures and backgrounds come together to work, connect, and celebrate, as we did at this gallery opening. It is a place for diverse businesses that spark innovation, entrepreneurship, creativity, arts and culture. Pembroke is honored to be a partner supporting BLK Chip Gallery, along with other Seaport neighbors and partners, Cronin Development and STREET2IVY. There were other inspiring Change Makers in attendance: Street2Ivy founder Tavares Brewington, JD, MBA, Lieutenant Governor @Kim Driscoll, Jon Cronin, Zoë Petty of House of Culture Collab who’ll be delivering cutting edge fashion to our reimagined Commonwealth Pier campus, Hilina D. Ajakaiye, MBA, CDME from Meet Boston, and the woman who can always pull together a powerful crowd to catalyze action, Linda Dorcena Forry. And how about the artists whose amazing works were on display—some already sold! Thank you for sharing your talents and bringing this Seaport gallery to life: Ibrahim Ali-Salaam, robert freeman, Rob ‘Problak’ Gibbs, Meclina Gomes, Ekua Holmes, Paul Goodnight and Victor ‘Marka 27’ Quinonez. Thank you to the many people who attended. Your presence demonstrated our dedication to diversity, vibrancy and the arts. And thanks to the talented photographer from the Governor's team, Joshua Qualls. "Demystifying Tech" - is the motto for this year, said Jo-Ann Hawkings, speaker at the REaaS Tribe at the At BWT UK yesterday, along with Tim Hamlin Killian Currey-Lewis Richard Saul and moderator Stephen Walker.   They spoke about how asset managers are increasingly using tech to gain insight into behavior, discussed how tenants are responding to the changes and answered the question: how is this the data is being used? The discussion also touched upon on some interesting points about how to effectively leverage data to make informed decisions, how to find appropriate proptech solutions that fit an operational strategy, and how to establish metrics and tools to accurately assess the value of proptech.   #proptech #ukpropertymarket #datamangement Spaces. offices | co-working | meeting rooms.
