🔧On this Carbon Removal Day, we at Parallel Carbon are reminded of our daily mission: to reduce and remove carbon, in parallel. There are 1,000 billion excess tons of CO₂ in the atmosphere. Managing this legacy pollution is 6X cheaper than insufficient action! The time for carbon removal is now. 🚀We need 100 million people to learn about carbon removal (CDR) today. It's time to channel our efforts away from emissions-intensive activities and toward scalable, innovative #CDR solutions. The potential for carbon removal is practically limitless, but it will only be realized if we activate and educate more people about the mission. 🔎At Parallel Carbon, we aim to eliminate over 2 billion tons of CO₂ from the atmosphere by 2040—because it’s a necessity. Our #directaircapture and #hydrogen production technology is the platform for a post-fossil fuel economy, creating the foundation for affordable, carbon-negative products like sustainable aviation fuels and fertilizers. 🌎Global net-zero emissions targets are only a half-measure – we must propel civilization into a carbon-negative world to restore the planet and minimize the costs of climate change. Decarbonization must be paired with carbon removal. One cannot succeed without the other, and sustainable global development cannot succeed without both. 📞We want you and your network on this journey with us. Post (or repost) something about #carbonremovalday. Send this message to someone not working on CDR. It takes just a few seconds to share this message, and be sure to follow us while you’re at it. Break the internet, not the planet. Spread the word, and let’s make CDR a pillar of the future. #CDRNow!

Removing and Reducing Carbon, in Parallel Affordable Direct Air Carbon Capture and Clean Hydrogen Technologies
About us
At Parallel Carbon, we're on a mission to halt climate change through innovative solutions. Our technology combines Direct Air Capture (DAC) and Water Electrolysis processes, harnessing solar and wind power to remove carbon from the atmosphere and produce clean hydrogen affordably. With a commitment to sustainability, by 2030 we will capture carbon for under $100 per ton and generate clean hydrogen for $1 per kilogram. Embracing a dual process — ancient geochemistry coupled with modern electrochemistry — we're doubling our efforts against climate change.

60 Companies Unite for a Sustainable Future in Carbon Removal! We are thrilled to announce that Parallel Carbon has joined forces with 59 leading organisations to endorse the Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) Industry Commitments. This groundbreaking initiative sets a new standard for the carbon removal sector, reinforcing our collective dedication to combat climate change and meet the ambitious goals of the Paris Agreement. 🔍Why This Matters: The CDR Industry Commitments represent a significant moment for our industry, aligning with the scientific consensus that to achieve net zero, we must not only reduce emissions but also remove 5-10 gigatons of CO2 annually by 2050. 📌 Key Pillars of the Commitments: 1. Clear Definitions: Establishing what CDR truly entails and its crucial role in climate action. 2. Commitment to Science: Acknowledging the necessity of CDR in our climate strategies. 3. Sustainability & Transparency: Upholding the highest standards of accountability and adherence to regulations. 4. Public Engagement: Ensuring inclusivity and equity in carbon removal activities. As signatories of these commitments, we are taking responsibility for the growth and integrity of the CDR sector. Our Founder and CEO, Ryan Anderson comments: “Our effort to deliver the hardware platform for a post-fossil fuel economy is built on high-integrity, transparent, and responsible carbon management foundations. We’re committed, like many others, to scaling carbon removal sustainably.” We invite all players in the CDR sector to join us in this shared commitment to building a future where carbon removals are done the right way, with accountability at its core.
