  • We are delighted to be named in The Sunday Times Ireland Best Places to Work 2024. The inaugural awards recognise organisations that consistently have high levels of employee engagement with evidence gathered from employee surveys across the business, with 26 questions on topics ranging from reward and recognition to empowerment and wellbeing. The accolade comes as OutForm Consulting l B Corp Certified celebrates its 6th anniversary this year. Founder and Managing Director, Brian Thompson set up the business in 2018 with an ambition to create an environment where clients and people can thrive. Brian said, “I am so incredibly proud that OutForm has been recognised on the Sunday Times Ireland ‘Best Places to Work’ list. As an ambitious, growing team, we scored exceptionally across all the categories from reward and recognition to job satisfaction. This exciting accolade not only exemplifies our proactive approach to support employee growth and development but also celebrates the positive workplace culture we have created."#STIrelandBPTW24. https://lnkd.in/ePvtsSk8

  • In an evolving digital world, it's disheartening to see that many young people still face significant hurdles in accessing the opportunities that could shape their future careers. The 'Decoding The Digital Skills Gap' report from The Prince's Trust highlights the obstacles that deter young people in the UK from pursuing digitally-focused careers, addressing the widening skills gap. According to the report, insufficient awareness, and access to training in digital skills are the main factors hindering young people from engaging in this field. OutForm recognises the need for education and change, and that we are privileged to have the ability to drive this. We are constantly looking for ways to enhance the suite of digital skills and confidence across our team, including our onboarding process with digital team training and support provided throughout. 10% of our week is dedicated to Continuous Professional Development, and major focus for the business is of our community project initiative, where we encourage our employees to develop new skills while also working on a project that can benefit the business. We are discussing skills shortages across Ireland and the UK in our upcoming event – register here for more details: https://lnkd.in/dSjRFMin #managementconsulting #digitalskills

3 Tips I've Learned as an Entry-Level Position Within OutForm Consulting l B Corp Certified! It has been 4 weeks since I began my time at OutForm, and I've had an amazing time so far! Here are three key things I’ve learned as an entry-level position (Intern/Graduate role): - Ask Plenty of Questions: I’ve realised that being at an entry level gives me the advantage of asking lots of questions. My colleagues are very understanding that I’m in the knowledge development stage and are very receptive to being quizzed, no matter how simple the question might be. This approach has accelerated my learning, created valuable conversations, and helped me build rapport. - Get Involved: I’ve found that participating in small initiatives is a great way to understand the people and processes better. Even though I might not yet be ready to directly contribute to client-facing work, there are always small-scale internal or community projects that I can engage in right away. This collaboration has provided me with insights into the team and workflow, allowing me to make a meaningful impact early on. - Be Realistic About Your Abilities: In the past, I've experienced the pressure to achieve the impossible and make an instant impact, which sometimes led me to set unrealistic timelines for my work. I’ve learned that setting achievable goals and realistic timelines is crucial. This approach helps manage expectations and ensures timely delivery of results. My time at OutForm has been fantastic so far, gaining great exposure to the various propositions and disciplines the organisation engages in. I have learned so much in the past 4 weeks and am delighted to begin contributing meaningfully to various projects. I’m really looking forward to continuing to learn, develop, and make a positive impact within this excellent organisation in the near future. #OutForm #CareerGrowth #ProfessionalDevelopment #Team #Consulting
