We recently celebrated our D&I week here at OUP ✨ Throughout the week, colleagues across Latin America, Mexico, and the US had the opportunity to attend lectures and discussions on topics such as artificial intelligence and diversity, post-pandemic mental health, and female leadership. BBC 500 Words, the UK's largest children's writing competition, is OPEN! 🥳 We're proud to be children’s language partner for 500 Words and we'd love to see your pupils taking part this year! Inspire your class to get involved by joining the 500 Words Live Lesson, taking place at 11:00 on Wednesday 25 September or visit the BBC website for lots of resources and videos. There are two age categories: 5-7 and 8-11 year-olds. All children need to do is write a story they would love to read in 500 words or fewer. Competition closes 9pm Friday 8 November 2024.
