We are delighted to welcome Faisal to OTB Engineering as an intern this summer! Faisal is currently studying civil engineering at City University and has shown great enthusiasm for contributing to the construction industry. 👷♂️ Faisal has already been immersed in various projects; from a shaft project within the water sector to designing a haul road for a Quarry using AutoCAD. He has also enhanced his technical skills with software such as Autodesk Robot. Faisal’s experience here has given him a glimpse into the life of an engineer and supported his professional growth through career development meetings and hands-on project work. His advice to future interns? Make every second count and enjoy the work and the unique projects. #EngineeringInternship #FutureEngineer #OTBEngineering #Internship

🌟 Team Spirit and Friendly Competition! 🌟 Our northern office, along with our friends from Waterco, recently enjoyed a fantastic summer work social at Sixes Cricket in Manchester. It was an evening filled with excitement and friendly competition as our teams battled it out on the cricket field. 🏏 A special shout out to Ahsan Mushtaq, who dominated the game and took home first place with an impressive lead from the start! After the thrilling match, we all indulged in some great food and ended the night with a relaxing evening at the pub. 🍔🍻 It's events like these that strengthen our team bonds and create lasting memories. Here's to more such fun-filled gatherings! 🙌 #TeamBuilding #SummerSocial #OfficeFun #Cricket #TeamSpirit #OTBEngineering

🏆 Last week David Hindle – OTB’s founder – received the James Clark Memorial Medal from the British Tunnelling Society. David was recognised for his dedication to innovation in tunnelling and his contribution to the industry throughout his long career. And was rightly described as an inventor and an engineer with a capital ‘E’. It’s a fantastic accolade and so very well-deserved. Congratulations David from all at OTB Engineering. 🥂

He was also founding director of Innovative Support Systems Ltd and OTB Engineering Ltd. He is also a senior military officer. He joined the Engineer and Logistics Staff Corps of the British Army in 1995, reaching the rank of colonel. He is due to retire from the Corps at the end of this year after 29 years’ service. Our values unite our team 🙌 At the heart of everything we do is delivering client value: practical, creative and right first time. So, it’s great to come together at the annual OTB Engineering Town Hall meeting to discuss our business plan, reflect on our successes and what drives us, and focus on our strategy. We also enjoyed a fantastic cheese board featuring local delights from Neal's Yard Dairy and Une Normande a Londres found at Borough Market #supportsmallbusiness #bankside We reflected on the successful delivery of our exciting projects and acknowledged our amazing team for their hard work, dedication and creativity.
