We wrapped up our series of education priorities conferences by bringing our secondary leaders together to plan how we are going to ensure that our students achieve the best possible outcomes in 2025. We enjoyed an inspirational keynote from Chris Fairbairn, Principal at The Totteridge Academy, on their remarkable eight year journey, and then dug into our plan for next year, facilitated by our Education Director, Richard Dolding. We are looking forward to supporting the implementation of our four education priorities from September.

Great to see Tenbury High Ormiston Academy proudly opening their new Robert Robinson Performing Arts Centre 👇 this week... significantly boosting Tenbury Wells’ environmental credentials with a state-of-the-art, cutting-edge solar-powered building, which not only dramatically reduces the reliance on fossil fuels and enhances energy efficiency, but produces more energy than it consumes! In addition to its environmental benefits, the new centre enriches the schools creative arts curriculum with extra drama and music classrooms, and a practice room for students. 🎭🎶 The project, completed in partnership with Energy Positive Assets Limited, marks a significant step in THOA and Ormiston's commitment to achieving Net Zero and reducing the environmental impact of new buildings. #EcoFriendly #NetZero #RenewableEnergy #CreativeArts #SustainableFuture
Proud of the successful event of our latest eco-friendly building at Tenbury High Ormiston Academy officially opened yesterday by Mrs V Dean, Principal and Robert Robinson. The Robert Robinson performing arts centre consumes 45kWh per m2 of energy compared with the DfE best practice guidance of 111kWh per m2. Innovative solar cladding on the east and south walls combined with roof PV panels will generate >32k kWh p/a compared to its 9k kWh usage p/a.
