About us
The Old Fire Station is a centre for creativity in Oxford housing two organisations: the homelessness charity Crisis and Arts at the Old Fire Station (AOFS). We share our building. AOFS encourages people from all backgrounds to understand and shape the world in which we live through stories, creativity and the arts, and by connecting with others. Art is for everyone. Everyone has potential.

We've reached £20,000! Thank you for supporting community and creativity in Oxford, for recognising the importance of art for social change and for making something brilliant happen. Your funding will help us hand over subsidised creative spaces to community groups and support more people with experience of disadvantage with free tickets and pay-what-you-can workshops. It will allow us to re-think our programming and partnerships to build audiences and showcase more work from under-represented artists. It means we can be more inclusive. It means the Old Fire Station can be here for everyone, and is here to stay. Thank you.

We are so close to reaching our target of £20,000 - please share and donate to support our ongoing work with local artists and communities. As part of the Big Give's #ArtsforImpact campaign, we have been granted £10,000 in match funding by New Philanthropy for Arts & Culture, but this funding is only unlocked through public donations. The campaign closes tomorrow - 21 hours left to reach £20,000.
