Sophisticated design solutions by AXIS House team and an exercise for us in highlighting the thoughtful integration of various elements within the office space. The meeting rooms, open breakout areas, high tables, and lush planting—including a real tree—are all strategically positioned under a high vaulted ceiling, a striking architectural feature that draws the eye upward. And the full-height window that spans one facade floods the interior with natural daylight, creating an inviting, airy atmosphere. Mix Awards 24: Project of the Year – Workplace 70k photographed post pandemic for K2 Space in Paris. We had two days to curate the case study, focusing on innovative concepts, bold furniture choices, and sustainable methodologies and materials. The creative use of functional artwork and design elements, such as acoustic trees, guided the composition of the images. We worked closely with Equinox Properties in Dorking to deliver a space that balances aesthetic appeal and functionality without compromising cost-effectiveness. Showcasing the diverse range of our portfolio, the open plan office space is designed with a mix of sit-stand and fixed height workstations and space-dividing storage, creating a flexible and functional environment. Meeting and breakout areas feature favourite pieces from our Everyday Collection, including the Mila banquette seating, Brook meeting chairs, and Hudson armchairs, to name a few. The shades of orange and mustard make the space bright and welcoming, and the layout provides a highly functional workspace with various areas for working and collaborating.
