We were proud to attend and be a sponsor of a great charity event on Thursday 20th held at Portstewart Golf Club on the beautiful North Coast of N.Ireland. Organised by GolfNow UK & Ireland, BRS Golf & Sky Adsmart. Total raised was over £11,000 for Cancer Fund for Children 🥳. Everyone had a blast and thanks for the invite. What a week at the 2024 North West 200! Rider Richard Cooper (Coopes) celebrated 2 second place finishes in the Super Twin category on the all new 650cc machine. Congratulations to Jack Reid Cars, Ryan Farquhar, Coopes and the whole team involved in getting this bike race ready. it's a lot of work, hours and dedication to get these machines built from scratch to compete and its very high level of racing. The North West 200 is a Northern Irish Motorsport event established in 1929 and is for road racing motorcycles held on a 8.97mile street circuit known as the Triangle between the towns of Portstewart, Coleraine and Portrush in Causeway Coast and Glens. This event is the largest outdoor sporting event in Ireland and attracts:   The world’s best 100 motorcycle road racers 110,000 visitors during the race week program (circa 24% of visitors are from overseas) 207k BBCNI viewers of broadcast programming 565k BBC iPlayer views 350k worldwide streaming via BBC website 800 million global broadcasts via Greenlight TV distribution network   This year a Northridge introducer customer, Jack Reid Cars have had a brand new race bike build for the event, which we were proud to sponsor and it will be ridden by Richard Cooper (Coopes). Since making his debut at the event in 2019, Coopes has had significant success at the event - claiming 8 podiums (including 4 wins). High expectations so if heading up to the viewing vantage points isn’t for you why not join some of the live streaming for the two Super Twin races being held on Saturday the 11th. Northridge Finance & Marshall Leasing recently held a dual office charity day across our Belfast & Huntingdon offices in aid of the great charity Headway - the brain injury association. This charity is one that is particularly close to our hearts. Did you know? Each year around 350,000 people in the UK are admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury. That’s someone every 90 seconds. Over three quarters of brain injury survivors experience daily problems due to the hidden nature of their disability. Over half say it has led to them being unfairly treated. This can have a severe impact on the mental health of survivors and their families.  We held bake sales, raffles & quizzes. As you can imagine the day went down a storm and there was a real buzz across both offices (although that may have been all the sugary treats!) We now have some colleagues in a weekly baking club and take turns bringing some homemade treats it to the office...a perfect reason to come in to the office 🍰 🎂 🍩 🍪 . Check out the photos...(how nice does the cake look?!) We are so proud of all our colleagues who have managed to raise £1,468 for this amazing charity! 😁 🥇
