People receiving mental health inpatient care are being offered the opportunity to take part in a financial wellbeing course to give them more confidence and control over their finances. We are the first Trust in the east of England to receive funding to offer this bespoke Multiply programme, which is being delivered by two trained peer support workers. Our mental health inpatient teams care for people with complex needs, and many have concerns about money, which adds stress and can make them more vulnerable. EPUT and Enable East secured funding from Essex County Council to tailor the Multiply programme to the needs of our patients and it is already having a positive impact.
