But we caught your attention 👀 The Nium team recently got together at Diamond Light Source Harwell Science and Innovation Campus with RE:TV to create a film to build understanding about Green Ammonia and Nium's mission to provide Green Ammonia on Demand globally. Who are RE:TV ? ‘RE:TV was launched by His Majesty The King in 2020, when he was Prince of Wales. As our editor-in-chief, he gave us clear guidance on the principles and priorities for us to follow, and his long-standing commitment to the environment continues to inspire us today. As he said in 2020, "We've got to come together as a world on this."’ Communicating these initiatives is so important The environmental impacts of ammonia production are widely known within the industries we are targeting, but there isn't as much awareness on the solutions - Many buyers don't know that Green Ammonia on Demand could be an option for them in the very near future. By reducing the emissions associated with ammonia production, we can create a pathway to green hydrogen for use in sectors like transport and heavy industry. Forging global partnerships in hydrogen innovation 🇦🇺 Six innovative projects with the potential to drive advancements in renewable energy have received funding from Innovate UK and Australia's Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water. The UK-Australia collaborative projects will help drive down the cost of green hydrogen, stimulate investment and commercial uptake of renewable hydrogen and industrial decarbonisation technologies. 🚨 Hot off the press...on #UKCBAM The Government Response confirms that....   🗞 A UK CBAM will be introduced on 1 January 2027. It will place a carbon price on goods that are at risk of carbon leakage imported to the UK from the aluminium, cement, fertiliser, hydrogen, iron and steel sectors. It will ensure that UK decarbonisation efforts lead to a true reduction in global emissions rather than simply displacing carbon emissions overseas. 🏗 Products from the glass and ceramics sectors will not be in scope of the UK CBAM from 2027, as previously proposed, to allow government and industry time to address feasibility concerns raised throughout the consultation process. The government will continue to work with industry to address these concerns before considering their potential inclusion at a later date.  🏦 The value of the minimum registration threshold will be increased from £10,000 to £50,000 so only businesses importing £50,000 or more of CBAM goods over a 12-month period will need to comply with the UK CBAM. At time of writing Nium has no full time commercial employees. However, through inbound enquiries, partner referrals and the brilliant research and management from Joe Were we have seen strong market demand.  💸Signed Offtake LOIs: $57M 👨✈️ 10 Pilot Opportunities 💸Qualified Pipeline Opportunity: $120M We have also been crunching the numbers from our CRM. They tell us an interesting story. This data includes traditional users of ammonia looking to decarbonise: Chemical & Fertiliser companies making up almost a third of all enquiries in our database. This is what we expected. But here is the strange bit. The majority of enquiries we get are from new entrants to the ammonia market. These are well capitalised companies with renewable and hydrogen assets, clear off-takes and defined targets - but no ready way of producing ammonia. Over 10% of enquiries are from Oil and Gas Almost half are from Renewable Energy companies and Green Hydrogen facilities. These are not small companies - of 137 leads, 43 have over $1bn in annual revenue.  33 have over $10bn 15 have over $50bn These companies don't even make ammonia right now. So what's happening? 🌍💡
