Government NHS Review: Ensuring its Inclusive At this seminal moment in the history of the NHS there is a promise of a "re-set" and new 10 Year plan; the review being lead by Professor the Lord Darzi of Denham OM KBE PC FRS will report soon. The NHS Race and Health Observatory issued its own call for the Government post the July election to ensure that we place racial inclusion at the heart of healthcare and NHS policy. In the words of Prof Habib Naqvi MBE: "...we're establishing what we're calling the Race and Health Observatory model of anti-racism and very clear points, a handful of very clear points, the first one of which is to name racism. The first step to any change in any arena is to acknowledge that there is an issue to change" It will be interesting to see the extent to which any NHS Plan takes full account of the work of the Observatory Watch the full episode below 👇 : https://lnkd.in/ew6KayuN Newcross Healthcare Solutions Stephen Pattrick, Toby Gavin, FuturU, Mark Story, Claire Reader, James Bland Dr Chaand Nagpaul, Professor Dame Donna Kinnair, Liberal Democrats, Stephen Kinnock, Rt.
