A little like this.. 🧑💼 Our CEO & Founder, who has both ADHD and autism, casually kicking off a team meeting: “Alright, so... small talk before we get into it, anyone hungry, what’s this meeting about again?” 👩💼 Our ADHD Management Consultant, balancing a million tasks at once: “Is it just me, or did we just take a 3 hour detour from our original topic?” 🤔 Then there’s our Operations Lead. No official diagnosis, but the team has their suspicions: “Wait… why does all of this feel oddly relatable even though I am neurotypical?” It’s in these everyday moments—our shared experiences and understanding—that we do our best work together. We might tackle challenges in our own ways, but that’s exactly what makes us thrive and different from the rest. At Neuropool, we don’t just talk about neurodiversity — we live it. Every. Single. Here are just a few inspiring examples: 🏅Jessica-Jane Applegate 🏊♀️ (Swimming, UK) Diagnosed with autism at age 15, a multiple Paralympic gold medalist who uses her platform to raise awareness about autism 🏅Olivia Breen 🏃♀️ (Track and Field, UK) Has cerebral palsy and is also Neurodivergent, world and Paralympic champion in long jump, advocate for Neurodiversity in sports. 🏅Mikey Brannigan 🏃♂️ (Track and Field, USA) Diagnosed with autism as a child and a gold medalist in the 1500m at the 2016 Paralympics, he broke numerous records in distance running. 🏅Monique Kalkman 🎾 (Wheelchair Tennis, Netherlands) Has ADHD and is a cancer survivor, four-time Paralympic gold medalist and has been inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.     ADHD in the Olympics? Last Friday's Olympic Opening Ceremony was a spectacular showcase of unity, talent, and the human spirit. Among the countless inspiring athletes, two remarkable individuals stood out, embodying the spirit of resilience and the power of Neurodiversity. 🏅Simone Biles  one of the greatest gymnasts ever, uses her ADHD as a source of strength, her incredible focus and determination under pressure show that neurodiversity can fuel greatness. 🏅Michael Phelps the most decorated Olympian in history, openly shares his struggles with ADHD and depression, his advocacy for mental health and his success in the pool offer hope and inspiration to many. These athletes remind us that Neurodiversity enriches the tapestry of human experience, contributing to the incredible diversity of talent and stories at the Olympics. Their journeys inspire us to embrace our unique challenges and leverage them as strengths.
