The city’s efforts extend beyond environmental goals, focusing on creating a future that is both sustainable and inclusive. Did you know? 🌍 About Valencia’s Climate Mission: The city aims to slash emissions by 55% by 2030, moving toward climate neutrality by 2050. With 48 strategic objectives, 30 programs, and nearly 200 lines of action, the Climate Mission is one of the most ambitious urban sustainability plans in Europe. 🌿 And Innovative Developments: Urban Greening Projects: Initiatives like the “City of Squares” are revamping public spaces, making them pedestrian-friendly and reducing car use, leading to cleaner air and more social cohesion. The Urban Sandbox is a creative testing ground for sustainable solutions—showing how urban innovation can meet climate targets in real-time. New urban forest projects like Desembocadura Park, connecting the city to the sea. In fact. It's Spain's longest urban park and contains palm trees and orange trees, fountains and pine woods, aromatic plants and ponds, sports facilities and rose beds.
