What makes Superblend Protein Powder so special?
We asked our Product Director, Brett Hamer, to share his thoughts on one of our newest and game-changing products:
"We created Superblend because it really is a great protein source. When we review innovations, sustainability is a major consideration for us, but the product also has to deliver as a quality product and the upcycled barley really does that.
"As a brand, we're focusing on how we can continue to deliver leading sports nutrition, whilst also providing customers with ingredients & products that can positively benefit their health & wellness too. Utilising barley as a protein source meant that our new protein product is not only environmentally conscious, but it also offers naturally occurring vitamins & minerals from the barley that other proteins don't.
"This wasn't a normal development, the Myprotein team worked alongside the Evergrain team to evolve the flavour, and we are thrilled with the results. Served hot or cold, it's perfect post-workout or simply if you want to increase your daily protein intake."
