Wow, what an incredible day that was! I had the greatest day at The Goodwood Group Ladies’ Day, followed by a magical evening at the Regency Ball! 🌸💃 I want to say a huge congratulations to all the incredible jockeys—you were absolutely inspiring and looked stunning in your Lisou silks! A special well done to Lizzie Jelfs for winning the Markel International Markel Magnolia Cup Race, what an amazing achievement 🏇✨ It was such a great experience getting to know and work with all the jockeys, and seeing this event come together and making a huge difference to My Sisters’ House has been truly heartwarming. This was an unforgettable experience; one I will remember for a lifetime! I am so happy I got to bring you all along on this incredible journey before I head back to university. What an incredible day at #MarkelMagnoliaCup! These amazing women took on the challenge of racing as non-professional jockeys, all while balancing full-time jobs and family life. And they did it all for a great cause, raising crucial funds for My Sisters’ House through their sponsorship efforts. Lizzie Jelfs, an Australia-based TV presenter, who was victorious on the day and winner of the Markel Magnolia Cup, highlighted the importance of charity and how this race brought women from all walks of life together. The week at @Goodwood-Races was not just about racing - it was also about raising awareness for My Sisters’ House in the Chichester area and engaging in many important conversations with people who were eager to learn more about what we do.
