It’s been another encouraging quarter for used car sales! The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) today revealed a 4.3% increase in used car sales for Q3, with EV sales soaring, leading to the highest-ever used EV market share of 2.7%. Motorway’s COO, James Wilson commented on the results, saying: “Demand for used electric vehicles remains high from our dealer partners, with a 30% increase in sales through the Motorway platform in Q3, with drivers turning to the used market as a more affordable entry point. “It’s a positive quarter for the used car industry as a whole, and a step in the right direction for the used-EV market. There’s still lingering nervousness around charging infrastructure and battery health, but on the whole consumers and dealers are increasingly looking to the used market as the UK drives towards electric.” Read more in the The Independent - https://lnkd.in/ev5Ai36g

What’s the secret to building an engineering team in the age of AI? 🤖 At this year's #SiftedSummit, our co-founder Harry Jones took to the stage to represent Motorway at one of Europe’s most exciting tech startup events. While AI transforms roles, there’s still no replacement for human taste and experience. 🎨 Creativity is key: Success with AI isn’t limited by the technology but by the creativity of how you use it.
