Our Head of Exposure Management Dr Jessica Turner and Lead Underwriter for Political Violence Guillaume Watkins recently hosted an International Society of Catastrophe Managers (ISCM) discussion on Evolving Cat Management of Geopolitical Risks. Although numerous insurance classes are exposed to losses from geopolitical risks, historically their management has received less focus from the catastrophe modelling community than nat-cat risks. With multiple hotspots of tension globally, better risk selection and accumulation management has moved up the agenda.    The event brought together more than 50 delegates for a thought-provoking discussion on this topic.
