Another fascinating (we think) "then and now" post from the Mission Street/BGO portfolio! Almost 2 years ago, following our first acquisition in Cambridge we received a lovely note from a Mrs K Hurst, Great-Granddaughter of Dr William Briggs, philanthropist, educational innovator and founder of the Burlington Press (as well as the University Tutorial College and the University Tutorial Press). Kate sent through some amazing photographs of her ancestors and of the Press building (and associated workers cottages) 100 years or so ago! Last month we took completion of the Press refurbishment, and these first two photos are of exactly the same spot of the building (from a slightly different angle). Following a massive thermal upgrade including air source heat pumps and PV panels, the Press is ready for innovation once again! Please get in touch with our agents, Bidwells and Creative Places, for further information Max Bryan Liam Nicholls Harry Blevins Seb Denby
