Are you ready for climate reporting? 💰 The current climate reporting system is complex. There’s a maze of frameworks and standards demanding the disclosure of messy, often inaccurate, data. And there are serious repercussions for getting it wrong, from regulatory penalties and loss of investment, to brand and reputational damage. 💰 In 2020, Fiat Chrysler faced a $9.5M fine for failing to disclose emissions data 💰 In 2023, and ExxonMobil’s Pension Plan was hit with a £5,000 fine for non-compliance with climate regulations 💰 A 2022 Grant Thornton study found that misreporting can cost FTSE 100 firms over £1B in lost value With stricter international and domestic reporting regulations on the horizon, finance leaders need to act now to avoid falling behind. This innovative approach will reduce mowing costs and emissions, support local farmers, boost soil health, and even help the sheep stay cool under the shade of the solar panels.
