Focus on Men's Health!👬 It’s International Men’s Day today and the Sizewell C Mental Health Support Group, together with the Gender Balance Network, are taking the opportunity to shine the light on men’s health. We are working with Men's Health Forum to make men’s health manuals available to our team which include how to be good to your heart, get active and handle ups and downs. Little changes can make a huge difference. Today is a good reminder for men, and for everyone, to look after your physical health and your mental health, they go hand in hand. It's International Men's Day and we want to highlight and show our support for Men's Health Forum's campaign calling for a Men's Health Strategy. Too many men are dying too young. Because three-quarters of premature deaths from heart disease are male, three-quarters of suicides are male, and men are 43% more likely to die from cancer. We are supporting the Men's Health Forum in calling on the government to introduce a Men’s Health Strategy to address this.
