About us

Medway Community Healthcare (MCH) is an award winning social enterprise and Community Interest Company (CIC) established in 2011. We were originally formed from the services directly provided by NHS Medway and have a strong history of partnership working with a number of local stakeholders including Medway Council, Medway Maritime Hospital, local Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), NHS England and many more. We're a £59 million business with over 1,300 staff and as a social enterprise, we are free to invest any profit we make into further improving our services, and into our local communities. We're incredibly proud of what we do, and all of our achievements reflect the passion, dedication and commitment demonstrated by our staff across all services. These qualities are borne out of our values: - Working in partnership - Delivering quality and value - Being caring and compassionate These values underpin everything we do with our staff, patients and commissioners of our services. We work together to ensure that we deliver a consistently high quality patient experience, and strive towards our vision of a successful, vibrant community interest company, that benefits the communities we serve. Our purpose it to provide community health and social care services principally across Medway and the surrounding areas.

  • Today is #WorldPTDay . In the UK, 90% of people with chronic pain report improvement in mobility and pain management through physiotherapy. In Medway, where 28% of adults are classified as inactive, physiotherapists are crucial in promoting physical activity, reducing the risk of heart disease, diabetes, mental health issues as well as physical wellbeing. We are proud to be part of this solution.
