THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM… Last week, in recognition of both World Homeless Day and World Mental Health Day 2024, we partnered with Real Change MCR and Coffee4Craig to host free, open-talk workshops addressing the often-overlooked connection between homelessness and mental health. The response was incredible. Through engaging conversations with our shoppers, we raised awareness of these important issues and as a direct result, several individuals even signed up to volunteer with Coffee4Craig. We’re excited about the lasting relationships and community impact that will continue to grow from this initiative. Oseyo, the UK's largest Asian supermarket chain is now open at The Manchester Arndale! This new flagship store, five times larger than their Oxford Road location, will be their biggest shop in the North, offering an extensive range of products including noodles, dumplings, rice wine, soju, specialty drinks, unique K-Pop gifts and a diverse selection of beauty products.    We are thrilled to welcome Oseyo to our dynamic retail community and look forward to the unique offerings they’ll bring to the centre. We also brought the festive spirit to life with live activations to raise funds for our charity partner, Real Change MCR, which supports local charities providing vital, practical support to those experiencing homelessness in Manchester. This bank holiday weekend, Manchester Arndale took centre stage at the Manchester Flower Festival with the headline installation, "The Second Summer of Love". Designed by Visual Architects, the psychedelic tribute to Manchester's vibrant rave culture spanned 8 meters in length and stood at almost 7 meters tall, capturing the free spirit, music and artwork of the late 80s and early 90s.
