    Connecting Data AI Professionals across Germany & the US

    “I only have 2-3 hours per week for active sourcing”. This is a common fact for many HR and TA colleagues I speak to in Germany. This is not including the time spent by Data Leaders who might use those 2 hours just screening 100's of applicants that don't fit. I met several of our partners in Frankfurt a couple of weeks ago, during conversations with different Data Leaders, a CIO and several TA/HR partners,  I came back to London with a refreshed appreciation for how much work you have to do! As agency recruiters in Germany my team and I live and breathe recruitment. Our weekly & daily team meetings are centred on things like; - How can we help solve the most important challenges our clients are facing. - Status of active vacancies and how can we do better (Sharing market information, sharing ideas) - Ensuring we are keeping in contact with candidates during interview processes. (We know how quickly things can change!) - What conversations are we having with candidates and decision makers and how is that taking us further to our goal of being an effective partner. - How can we grow our network and build long term relationships in our specialist verticals to improve time to hire for our partners. - What events are upcoming where we can network with candidates and decision makers in our verticals.     Connecting Data AI Professionals across Germany & the US

    From working with Data & AI Leaders across Germany it’s clear that the role of "Data or AI Product Owner" is becoming more important than ever. What’s sometimes overlooked is the potential of someone to move into such a role even if they have don’t have the job title on their CV yet. Can a Senior Data Scientist from a consulting or in-house consulting background with excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills with strong agile working experience do a PO role? Often the answer is yes. Of course it always comes down to the details and specific needs of the role and team dynamics, but I’d always encourage data leaders to keep an open mind to transferable experience, those candidates could be the best fit as your role is a step forward instead of a side move.
