We were delighted to welcome the President of the Republic of Latvia, Mr Edgars Rinkēvičs, and several of his colleagues to our facility today for a tour, demonstration and discussion around the critical roles our platforms are playing across the globe.

We were delighted present some of our class-leading platforms recently to Secretary of State for Defence Grant Shapps at Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) Abbey Wood. Below is Oriol, our Chief Operating Officer, discussing our T-150 model, as well future capabilities on our larger platforms, such as CASEVAC, with Mr Shapps.

👏 SURVICE is excited to reaffirm our commitment to and strategic alliance with Malloy Aeronautics Ltd. (now a wholly owned subsidiary of BAE Systems) to bring their electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) technology to the United States Department of Defense (DoD). The SURVICE-Malloy team’s Tactical Resupply Vehicle (TRV), built upon the Malloy Aeronautics T-series unmanned aerial vehicle (UAS), is currently in production under the NAVAIR Tactical Resupply UAS (TRUAS) program. BAE provides the depth, infrastructure, and manufacturing expertise to more quickly ramp up production to meet the growing demand within the DoD. While the existing SURVICE-Malloy partnership continues, it is now strengthened with the addition of BAE and introduces new opportunities to expand our collective portfolio. #drone #uas #trv #trv150 #BAE #baesystems #defense

On a day like this 10 years ago Malloy Aeronautics was born. We have come a long way since the first Hoverbike design, a journey made only possible by the people who took part in it. We want to specially thank our invaluable partners SURVICE Engineering, who have been material in the success of our company. We also want to thank all the individuals from the Government and industry who believed in us and saw the future of unmanned logistics before everyone else. Lastly and most importantly, our recognition goes to our beloved, hard-working and very skilled team of employees who are the true heroes in this story. Let's make the next 10 years memorable.

Check out this giant drone gliding in the air above Hornsea 1 in the UK We’ve been testing it to explore how giant drones can be used for transporting cargo to offshore wind turbines.   Drones mean less work disturbance as the turbines don’t have to be shut down when cargo is delivered. They avoid risk, making it safer for personnel working on the wind farm and minimise the need for multiple journeys by ship, thereby reducing carbon emissions.   The trial builds on our previous experience testing smaller drones at other offshore wind farms. The 58 kg drone has a wingspan of 2.6 m and can transport cargo of up to 68 kg – the equivalent weight of a baby giraffe and the wingspan of an albatross! Read more here: https://lnkd.in/e2Q-_7z5
