At the Magma Aviation UK office, we provide weekly fruit baskets to our staff, promoting healthy snacking during the workday. This initiative not only benefits our employees but also the planet. For every basket of fruit purchased, a tree is planted. Since starting this programme, the UK office—comprising Chapman Freeborn Airchartering, Magma Aviation, and Intradco Global—has planted 58 fruit trees. Eat more fruit plant more trees = a win-win for both the planet and our employees! #MagmaAviation #EatMoreFruit #PlantMoreTrees

Magma Aviation’s Lewis Joyce took on the National 3 Peaks challenge in aid of Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Maternity Bereavement Services. Lewis and a group of friends took on the challenge in memory of their friend's daughter, Everleigh Songhurst Morrell. The challenge saw them climb the 3 highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours. Lewis said “This was by far the hardest physical and mental activity I have done and couldn’t have done it without this fantastic team of friends, which I consider family. We all pushed ourselves further than we ever thought, and I managed to complete the last climb up Snowdon in 23hrs 24minutes.” To find out more about this story, please click on the link below. https://lnkd.in/gJAHx_-p #3PeaksChallenge #MaternityBereavementServices #Challenge

Magma Aviation has operated its 1000th flight from Nairobi, Kenya to Liège, Belgium as part of its alliance with airfreight and overland logistics organisation, MidnightZulu. The airbridge has a huge socioeconomic impact on Kenya, bolstering its essential horticultural industry and providing thousands of jobs in a country with high rates of unemployment. Conor Brannigan, Magma Aviation CEO, comments, "It was not just about business, but about making a difference; connecting continents and supporting the vibrant horticulture industry in Kenya. Our collaborative efforts have ensured a steady flow of essential fresh goods, whilst contributing to the Kenyan economy and providing sustenance to the local community." Thomas Frankum, Chief Executive Officer at MidnightZulu, explains, “The products are harvested and prepared for uplift by 10,000 people for every flight, and each person has between 8 and 10 dependants relying upon their income. We just love a challenge! Magma Aviation recently transported an outsized machine part for our client, Via Group BRU. The item weighed 7,500kg and required loading in a particular way due to its size and shape. Once loaded, the transport went smoothly and successfully. The aircraft left Liège Airport (LGG) and travelled to Luano International Airport (FBM) ready for onward travel. #MagmaAviation #ViaGroup #Cargo #B747F

In honour of Earth Day 2024, Magma Aviation joined the Great Global Cleanup to support a waste-free planet. We focused on public areas such as parks, rivers, and footpaths in local communities to collect waste and litter. It was astonishing to see how many bags we filled and the surprising items people discarded. #GreatGlobalCleanUp
