Sharing Luno Indonesia's commitment to crypto education awareness, I'm excited to share our collaborative efforts undertaken to foster a deeper understanding of digital assets among Indonesian people. Be prepared to read the long story but here’s the TL;DR:
🚀 Since 2017, Luno Indonesia has been on a journey to education and empowerment, striving to make the intricacies of crypto assets accessible to all.
📚 Last year, we started our efforts, hosting tailored events for not only Indonesian people but for expats living in Indonesia.
📣 To date, we have organised multiple events for the expats and a series of education to our media friends in Jakarta, Bandung, and Surabaya to break the myth surrounding crypto assets.
At Luno, we acknowledged the universal right to access crypto assets. We want to empower everyone with the power of crypto.
So, since last year, Luno has worked with our partners to tailor educational events for foreigners or expats who are currently living in Indonesia. To date, I’m proud to say that we have hosted multiple successful business networking and educational events, empowering expats to navigate the crypto landscape in Indonesia confidently.
In addition to those efforts, our team also recently conducted a series of educational visits to our media friends across Surabaya, Bandung, and Jakarta in May 2024 in support of the Bulan Literasi Kripto Month initiated by Asosiasi Blockchain & Pedagang Aset Kripto Indonesia. Over the course of a month, we had the opportunity to engage with more than 60 local and national journalists to debunk the myths surrounding crypto assets.
Not stopping here, our very own Debora Ginting also joined the Bulan Literasi Kripto roadshow in Bali as a panelist, advocating for career opportunities in the crypto industry and inspiring the next generation of crypto enthusiasts.
I firmly believe that these initiatives not only align with our mission to democratise access to crypto knowledge but also reflect our commitment that everyone can access the power of crypto with Luno. We believe that everyone, regardless of nationality or background, should have the opportunity to participate in and benefit from the crypto revolution.
We are not stopping here, we will continue to drive our vision of a future where crypto assets are understood and accessible to all and continue to educate among Indonesian.
